Crochet with Twisted Thread Therapy

This evening, we had the pleasure of hosting a crochet class in collaboration with Twisted Threads Therapy. Participants immersed themselves in the art of crochet, learning essential stitches and techniques. The atmosphere was filled with creativity and camaraderie as attendees began crafting their own pieces.
Engaging in activities like crochet offers numerous mental health benefits. The repetitive motions involved can release serotonin, a natural mood enhancer, leading to feelings of calm and happiness. A study involving over 8,000 crocheters worldwide found that 89.5% felt calmer and 82% experienced increased happiness after crocheting.
Additionally, crochet can serve as a form of mindfulness, helping to reduce stress and anxiety by keeping the mind focused on the present task.
